Members of the Warrior Club play a vital role in building and sustaining a quality athletics program at WLC. By joining the Warrior Club, member are not only helping 400 student-athletes obtain an exceptional college education and athletics experience, they are joining many others in a commitment to excellence in athletics. Whichever membership level is choosen, contributions made to the Warrior Club will support these student-athletes who compete out of a true love of their sport and, along the way, develop friendships and skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Contributions support the WLC athletics experience in three ways:
1. 80% directly supports the sport or program of your choice. Contributions can be split equally between two teams, or may be designated to support the Warrior Club in general.
2. 10% supports the Warrior Club General Fund. The General Fund covers operational costs, and more importantly, is also directed toward specific athletics initiatives that benefit the entire athletics experience but are not currently funded within the budget. For example, during the 2014-2015 academic year, the new WLC Warriors Hall of Fame will receive support from Warrior Club contributions. Contributions will help launch this exciting project as we honor the best of the best.
3. 10% is directed toward growing the “Always a Warrior” Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund was recently created with a generous gift from the Lutheran Legacy Foundation. The Foundation will match additional endowment investments. As the endowment grows, it will provide a long-term income stream to be used for special purchases and expenses related to the WLC athletics experience.

Always a Warrior Endowment Fund – The Always a Warrior Endowment Fund exists to support the college’s athletic experience and its student athletes. Contributions provide support for more than 350 student athletes who participate in 18 NCAA Division III varsity sports, cheerleading and dance. It’s primary purpose is to fund specific initiatives and projects outside the scope of the department’s normal budgetary process.
